Naval Brass Rod C46400
Naval Brass Rod C46400 is a high strength, corrosion resistant alloy rod commonly used in marine industry where a hard material with good corrosion resistance is essential. This alloy contains a deliberate addition of tin to give improved resistance to corrosion and dezincification, particularly in salt water and marine environment. It is an excellent material for brazing & soldering and are comparatively low cost material ideal for marine and industrial applications. Some applications of this alloy can be found in marine hardware, precision shipboard equipment, propeller shaft, aircraft components, heat exchange tube, missile components, plumbing fittings, electrical fittings, decorative fittings, etc.
