Naval Brass Plate C46400

Naval Brass Plate C46400 is a high strength, corrosion resistant alloy plate commonly used in marine construction industry where a hard material with good corrosion resistance is essential. This alloy contains a deliberate addition of tin to give improved resistance to corrosion and dezincification, particularly in salt water and marine environment. Its non-abrasive, long wearing surface is ready for drilling, grooving and easy installation. It is an excellent material for brazing & soldering and is a comparatively low cost material ideal for marine and industrial applications. Typical applications for this C46400 plate include pressure vessels, condensers, heat exchangers, precision shipboard equipment, propeller, aircraft components, heat exchange tube, missile components, plumbing fittings, electrical fittings, decorative fittings, etc.
